This policy covers the subscription a school pays WRAB for using WRAB SCHOOL. It does not cover school fees that families pay to their school: those are explained in section 4.
1. Free trial
A new school may start with a free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial, and the school can stop at any time. If no plan is chosen when the trial ends, the school’s account becomes read-only: records can still be viewed and exported.
2. Cancelling a subscription
- The school’s owner can cancel at any time by writing to us from the registered email, or from the school’s settings when available.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. The Service stays fully available until then.
- After it ends, the owner can sign in read-only and download the school’s data for 90 days (see the terms).
3. Refunds of subscription fees
- A school that cancels within [number] days of its first paid subscription gets a full refund of that payment.
- After that, fees already paid for a period are not refunded, except where we end the agreement without the school being at fault, or the Service was unavailable for a long time because of us; then we refund the unused part of the period.
- Amounts charged by mistake, or charged twice, are always refunded in full.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 7 working days of approval (the bank may take a few more days to show it). GST is adjusted with a credit note.
4. School fees paid by families
Fees for tuition, transport, admission and other school charges are set and collected by the school, and the money belongs to the school. WRAB does not decide or hold these amounts. Requests to cancel an admission or refund school fees go to the school, under the school’s own fee and refund policy. Parents can ask the school for a refund in the app, and the school decides and pays it.
When a school accepts fees online through a payment gateway, the payment goes to the school’s account with that gateway; refunds are issued by the school through the same gateway.
5. How to ask
Schools: write to us from the owner’s registered email with the school code and invoice number. Families: contact your school’s office first. If you believe a payment was taken wrongly by the Service itself, see grievances & contact.
